What an authorship certificate is
A record in the iDeal network that this author published this text at this moment. Anyone can check it without trusting Eurecable.
What it gives
- Strong evidence of priority in an authorship dispute: the text existed on that day and is tied to you.
- An artefact you can give or sell; the idea's author gets 5 % of every resale.
- Issuing costs 10 iDeal, 30 % of it is burned — iDeal is spent with meaning instead of piling up.
What it is not
- Not a patent and not protection against using the idea.
- Not a transfer of rights: the rights to the idea stay with the author, whoever owns the certificate.
- Not an investment and not a promise of income.
Only the author can issue a certificate — with the button on their idea's page. Issuing opens when the iDeal network launches. How iDeal works
