An idea exchange

About

Eurecable is named after Archimedes' «Eureka!» — «I have found it!». Here you find ideas: your own as you write them and disclose them facet by facet, and others' as you read and take them apart.

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples, then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.
Bernard Shaw

Share an idea!

  • Get feedback on your idea from other members!
  • Read and rate the ideas of others!

If you have an idea, that is certainly cool. Even better when it is a good or even a brilliant one. But the truth is you do not always have the time or the means to bring it to life, while other people have both and often do not know what to do or how.

And only by sharing your idea can you learn about an equally good idea of someone else. Don't ask how it works — we don't know. But that is exactly how it works.

You will never solve a problem if you think the same way as those who created it.
Albert Einstein

Share a problem!

  • Comment on and solve the problems of others!
  • Study the solutions to your own and others' problems!

First of all, to solve a problem you have to admit you have it. And many people have problems, of every degree of difficulty and in every area of life.

Besides, if you never tell others about your problems, you probably don't care to look into theirs. And often only someone from outside can offer a good idea that solves your problem.

We face a tremendous task — to find ways of extracting this energy. Then, drawing it from this inexhaustible source, humanity will advance with giant strides.
Nikola Tesla

Transfer energy!

  • To read someone's idea you need energy.
  • When someone is inspired by your idea, they pass energy to you.
  • A like for a comment or a problem brings you energy as well.

Creating takes energy, often called creative energy. One way to restore it is to enjoy the fruit of someone else's creativity. That is how creative energy circulates.

The concept of creative energy works the same way here: by creating ideas you gain other people's energy, which you can in turn spend on studying their ideas.
