iDeal — the unit of recognition for review
iDeal is Eurecable's own unit. It is not bought for money: it appears when a review of an idea proved useful, and is spent on what makes an idea more visible.
Where it comes from
- The author disclosed a facet readers asked for: 1 iDeal to the author.
- To everyone whose request led to the disclosure: 0.5 iDeal.
- A review liked by another member: 0.2 iDeal to the reviewer.
- At most 50 iDeal a day per member — so that review is valued, not frequency.
What it is spent on
- A certificate of authorship — 10 iDeal, of which 30 % is burned. The author gets 5 % royalty on resales. Certificates
- Creative energy: 10 ⚡ per 1 iDeal when buying, 20 ⚡ per 1 iDeal when selling to the platform.
The network
The iDeal network is not live yet: balances are kept in Eurecable's database and will be issued as real tokens to members' custodial addresses on genesis day. The old site's history stays as the archive before genesis.
Members with iDeal: 83.
What iDeal does not promise
- Not an investment and no promise of return: there is no money rate and no exchange.
- Not a right to the idea: copyright stays with the author, the certificate is a proof of priority.
- A member's iDeal says how much of their review proved useful, and nothing else.
